UC Irvine transfer Max Hazzard to visit Arizona, per report

UC Irvine guard Max Hazzard will take an official visit to Arizona on Thursday, April 18, according to Jake Weingarten of StockRisers.

Hazzard, the younger brother of former UA walk-on Jacob Hazzard, announced after the NCAA Tournament that he would explore becoming a graduate transfer.

The 5-foot-10 Hazzard averaged 12.5 points per game this season, with a .412/.387/.779 shooting line. He scored 19 points to lead the Anteaters past Kansas State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Hazzard has one year of eligibility left and can play immediately at his new school if he does decide to transfer.

How would Jacob Hazzard react to his brother becoming a Wildcat? He’s not even sure.
