Arizona vs. Colorado score predictions

Will the Wildcats finally snap their losing streak in Boulder?

The Arizona Wildcats (14-11, 5-7) will mercifully try to end their six-game losing streak on Sunday in Boulder against the red-hot Colorado Buffaloes (15-9, 6-6), who have won four straight.

Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. MST on ESPNU. KenPom gives the Buffaloes a 66 percent chance of winning, with a projected score of 70-65.

Here is what we think will happen. Be sure to leave your predictions in the comment section below?

Brian J. Pedersen — Colorado wins 68-62

Arizona’s it-keeps-getting-worse losing streak has seen it lose to ASU for the first time in four years, to Washington State for the first time in nine years and to Utah for only the second time since the Utes joined the Pac-12. And now it heads to a place where it has only won twice in six meetings under Sean Miller … which the way this year has been, both for the Wildcats and the Pac-12 in general, means they’ll somehow come out on top, right?

Eh …

At least Cal is next on the schedule.

Zant Reyez — Colorado wins 67-59

Arizona doesn’t win in Boulder often, and couple that with this team and you get another loss.

Ezra Amacher — Colorado wins 78-68

Arizona is on a historic losing streak. Colorado is on its longest conference winning streak since joining the Pac-12. That doesn’t bode well for the Wildcats, who are closer and closer to becoming the first team Sean Miller has had in Tucson to go sub .500 in conference play. I just don’t see Boulder being the place where Arizona’s skid ends. Brandon Randolph is heading in the wrong direction confidence and production wise, and the Wildcats don’t have enough firepower to fill in for his slump.

Ryan Kelapire — Colorado wins 72-67

As Ezra said, Arizona and Colorado couldn’t be trending in more different directions. Sports are often unpredictable, but there is nothing to suggest that Arizona can go into Boulder and escape with a win over a hot Buffaloes team that is better than the Wildcats at virtually everything but 3-point shooting.

The Wildcats host Cal and Stanford next week, so if they are somehow able to pull off a win in Boulder, they could find their way above .500 in conference play in a couple weeks.
