Arizona opens as home underdog for Territorial Cup against Arizona State

If the Arizona Wildcats are going to become bowl-eligible in Kevin Sumlin’s first season it will require beating rival Arizona State on Saturday in Tucson. And they’d be doing so as a small home underdog.

ASU (6-5, 4-4 Pac-12) has opened as a 2-point favorite over Arizona (5-6, 4-4) for the Territorial Cup, marking the eighth time in 12 games this season the Wildcats have been underdogs. Three of those have been at home, with Arizona beating California and Oregon in its last two outings as home dogs.

Arizona is 6-5 against the spread this season while ASU 7-4 ATS including 3-2 on the road.
