Check out the gifts Arizona and Purdue will get for playing in the Foster Farms Bowl

A Fossil watch, Sony headphones, and more

There are a lot of good things about playing in a bowl game. The extra weeks of practice, the travel, and ... the gifts.

Instead of getting money for playing in the postseason, college football players get gifts. There is a $550 limit for each player and each bowl game offers different items.

Here’s what the Arizona Wildcats and Purdue Boilermakers will be getting for playing in the Foster Farms Bowl, according to Sports Business Daily.

Foster Farms Bowl, Arizona vs. Purdue: Fossil watch, Sony XB950N1 extra bass noise canceling headphones, Timbuk2 backpack, coin, $25 Apple iTunes gift card.

Fossil watches range from $75 to $225. Those Sony noise-canceling headphones currently retail at Best Buy for $179.

Timbuk2 backpacks — a San Francisco product — range from $34 to $204.

The “coin” in this case is likely a commemorative thing. And obviously the $25 Apple iTunes gift card is self-explanatory.

If the Wildcats would have been sent to the Las Vegas Bowl as most people projected, they would have received these things:

Las Vegas Bowl, Boise State vs. Oregon: Gift suite, Oakley backpack and tag, hat, Rock ‘Em socks, beanie.

A “gift suite” is usually a private event where student-athletes can select from a wide variety of items.

You can see all the gifts for all the bowl games here.

The Foster Farms Bowl is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. MST in Santa Clara, Calif.
