3-star DE Nahe Sulunga commits to Arizona
The Calabasas, Calif. product also had offers from Colorado State, Wyoming, and UC Davis
Three-star defensive end Nahe Sulunga has committed to the Arizona Wildcats, he announced Friday on Twitter.
The Calabasas, Calif. product is the No. 49 strong-side defensive end in the country and the No. 1041 player in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Sulunga also had offers from Colorado State, Wyoming, and UC Davis.
The 6’2.5”, 252-pound lineman decommitted from Colorado State on Nov. 21. He unofficially visited Arizona on Nov. 11 for the Oregon State game.
According to MaxPreps, Sulunga had 17 tackles and three sacks in six games this season at Calabasas High School. Defensive tackle Mykee Irving, also a UA commit, attends Calabasas as well.
Before attending Calabasas, Sulunga attended St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif.
Sulunga is a key addition for the Wildcats who were lacking defensive linemen in their 2018 class. He is just Arizona’s third defensive line commit along with Irving and Adam Plant.
Arizona’s 2018 class, which now has 20 commits, is ranked No. 44 in the country and seventh in the Pac-12.
Here are Sulunga’s senior year highlights:
