2018 WR Jailen Bailey commits to Arizona
The San Diego product was also considering Utah State and San Jose State
2018 wide receiver Jailen Bailey has committed to the Arizona Wildcats, he announced Saturday on Twitter.
The 5-foot-10 Lincoln High School (San Diego, Calif.) product is unranked by scouting services. Bailey also held offers to San Jose State and Utah State, according to 247Sports.
According to MaxPreps, Bailey had 32 catches for 823 yards and nine touchdowns in nine games this season, along with seven carries for 104 yards and a touchdown.
Bailey becomes the 18th member of Arizona’s 2018 class which is ranked ninth in the Pac-12 and 57th nationally.
Arizona also has commitments from wide receivers Jaden Mitchell, Tre Adams, and Thomas Marcus, plus wide receiver/tight end Zach Williams.
Here are some of Bailey’s highlights:
The clear need for Arizona on the recruiting trail at this point is linemen on both sides of the ball. The Wildcats only have two offensive lineman and two defensive lineman committed in their 2018 class.
We’ll see what they can do before college football’s early signing period in late December.
