Arizona basketball: Kadeem Allen out vs. Washington State with dislocated pinky, per report
Parker Jackson-Cartwright will start in his place
Kadeem Allen will not play Thursday when the Arizona Wildcats take on the Washington State Cougars in Pullman due to a dislocated right pinky, report Jason Scheer of WildcatAuthority.com and Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star.
Parker Jackson-Cartwright will start in Allen’s place.
Scheer also reports Allen may need seven stitches, but could play Saturday against the Washington Huskies.
This is the second game Allen will have missed this year, as he sat out on Nov. 15 against Cal State Bakersfield with a knee injury.
The senior is averaging 9.5 points per game, and his absence will be a rather significant blow to Arizona’s perimeter defense.
It is not clear when or how Allen suffered the injury.
Jackson-Cartwright will be making his first start since Nov. 30 when he suffered a high ankle sprain.
Tip-off against Washington State is set for 7 p.m. MST and the game will be televised on FOX Sports 1.
