Sonoran Hot Reads: UCLA staying the course with its offense
Despite early season struggles, the Bruins are sticking to the new plan
Rich Rodriguez alluded to the different offensive system the UCLA Bruins will bring to the field against the Arizona Wildcats this year, and that system has caught some heat after their last couple of games. But the Bruins are staying patient with the new system, and are sticking with it. Several times on Tuesday, UCLA QB coach Marques Tuiasosopo used the phrase “staying the course” when referring to Josh Rosen and the new offense. Hopefully their watered bamboo doesn’t decide to start growing like crazy this week

- At one point on Tuesday, Steve Selsky had a hit in seven-straight at bats for the Reds. He finished the night 1-for-4 after having five hits on Monday. Overall, he seems to be making a good impression with the club

- As a team, women’s golf placed 12th in their Orlando tournament, but Haley Moore finished T-3rd in the individual competition
