Sonoran Hot Reads: Trevon Duval transferring to IMG Academy

2017’s top point guard is leaving Terrance Ferguson’s “high school”

Arizona fans are far too familiar with the questionable status of Advanced Prep in Dallas. It happens to be the school that Terrance Ferguson attended, which didn’t qualify him academically for Division-1 basketball, pushing him towards the overseas route instead of attending Arizona. Well, 2017’s top point guard, Trevon Duval, also attended that school, but will not do that this year. His father announced on Sunday that Trevon will attend IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. U of A is currently in Duval’s top nine

- The Arizona and Grambling bands found themselves on the field together during a racially charged time in our nation’s history again. And be sure to watch Grambling’s halftime show from Saturday

- Construction of the USS Arizona Mall Memorial has begun. In related news, there will be several Pearl Harbor tributes this weekend with Hawai’i in town, including special uniforms for the football team and a special halftime show
