University of Arizona athletes competing in Rio Olympics
Here’s a list of the Wildcats competing in Rio, and when they will compete
The Rio Olympics get started on Friday with the Opening Ceremonies, and there will be 13 athletes and support staff that have ties to the University of Arizona.

- Chloe Woodruff (Mountain bike - cross country, Sat. August 20th) - USA
Diving
- Rafael Quintero (10m platform, Fri. August 19th) - Puerto Rico
- Omar Ojeda (head coach) - Puerto Rico
Swimming
- Kevin Cordes (100m breaststroke, Sat. August 6th and 200m breaststroke, Tues. August 9th) - USA
- Michael Meyer (400m IM, Sat. August 6th) - South Africa
- Tjasa Oder (800m free, Thurs. August 11th and 4x200m free relay, Wed. August 10th) - Slovenia
- Brad Tandy (50 free, Thurs. August 11th) - South Africa
