Sonoran Hot Reads: Nowhere in the Pac-12 comes close to McKale Center
Arizona has the best college basketball venue in the conference...by far
A lot of college basketball fans know that McKale Center is one of the best environments in the sport. But when ESPN ranked the Pac-12 venues, they went a step above, saying: "The Wildcats sell out 14,655 seats every night, they're almost always good, and they almost never lose at home. Venue-wise, nowhere in the Pac-12 comes close." Those that weren’t close? UW at No. 2, Colorado at No. 3, and Utah in 4th. I would have thought Utah would get a better mark based on what Arizona players have told me in the past
- Speaking of Colorado and someone that used to play in McKale, Kyle Fogg won The Basketball Tournament MVP and got some cash. Hopefully he’ll pay back Derrick Williams now
