Sonoran Hot Reads: Cal's Tyrone Wallace breaks hand before NCAA Tournament

Adjust your brackets accordingly

If you had the California Golden Bears going a long way in your NCAA Tournament bracket, you may want to make a last second adjustment. According to The Vertical, senior guard Tyrone Wallace suffered a broken hand in the Bears' practice on Wednesday, putting his tournament status in jeopardy. It is his non-shooting hand, but this still isn't good for a young Cal team. The school did confirm the report late Wednesday night

- Experts are all over the place on their expectations for the Arizona Wildcats in this tournament.. Dick Vitale has them as a potential sleeperJeff Goodman says the best case is an Elite Eight, and worst case is obviously losing on Thursday night. Fran Fraschilla says Arizona's success depends on Ryan Anderson and Gabe York

- 6-seeds have only been .500 against 11-seeds since 2010. Also, only three six-seeds have reached the Final Four, and none have done it since 1992

Sports Illustrated has Arizona losing to Kansas in the Elite Eight. Going off of KenPom, the Wildcats might also be a very good value

Vegas says take the under in this one

- Is Arizona elite? ABC 15 doesn't think so. The Wildcats have a few of the 82 players from California in this year's tournament

- Oregon was pretty good this year, and they'll get Chris Boucher back next year after his appeal was upheld

- Damon Stoudamire is the new head coach at Pacific

- Allonzo Trier is the 10th-best freshman in this year's Big Dance. The Vertical also argues that this is Trier's chance to really boost his draft stock
