Sonoran Hot Reads: Gary Payton trash talks Josh Jackson

This is amazingly hilarious

As the Arizona Wildcats were playing against Gary Payton II on Saturday night, the original Gary Payton was coaching a team that was facing Josh Jackson, the top-ranked prep player in the nation and top Arizona target. And Payton was not afraid to go back to his trash-talking days against the talented prospect. According to Yahoo's Marc Spears, Jackson stared down Payton after draining a three, and The Glove shouted out "You got to get to my level."

Jackson seemed to really enjoy the experience, saying "Like myself, he hated to lose and would get on his teammates in a heartbeat. I feel like I have a little bit of that in me. For me, playing how I was, it was only right that we bumped heads." To which Payton said: "He cool, man. He has a lot of dog in him. He has to work on his right hand. Kids nowadays in that situation are not coached how they should be coached to learn the game. When he got into it with me, his whole game went to [expletive] to me."

The real thing Arizona fans are concerned about? Jackson said that his college decision is now coming in late March.
