USC Trojans put Steve Sarkisian on indefinite leave, should fire Pat Haden
A shakeup in the Pac-12 South
Given his history of addiction, and what happened at that infamous USC booster dinner before the season, the USC Trojans should have done this before the year started, but Steve Sarkisian has been put on indefinite leave.
USC AD Pat Haden announces that Steve Sarkisian will take an "indefinite leave of absence." Clay Helton named interim head coach.

Sarkisian was not at practice today. Haden then called him and said "it was very clear to me that he is not healthy."

The Trojans suffered a home loss to Sark's former school Washington on Thursday night, leaving people to wonder if Chip Kelly should make his way to L.A.
USC is in a dire situation right now, and all of this falls squarely on the shoulders of Pat Haden. Haden needed to force Sarkisian to go to rehab when this issue first came up, instead of putting someone out there who has a history of addiction, like Sarkisian, in a high-stress situation (i.e. being the head coach at USC).
Then you add to that their 3-2 record, 1-2 in conference, and a trip to South Bend on the docket this weekend? The bomb was bound to go off at some point, and now it has.
Am told by multiple sources Steve Sarkisian showed up in no condition to work today & #USC brass knows he needs serious help.

USC needs to get rid of Pat Haden, and needs to do it now.
