Arizona National Signing Day: Wildcats get top JUCO prospect Paul Magloire

With Jared Tevis, Tra'Mayne Bondurant and Jourdan Grandon all leaving, Magloire can make an immediate impact.

It's been a long road for Paul Magloire, but he's finally settled down in a place he is more than willing to call his home. After starting his career at Appalachian State as a quarterback, he landed at Arizona Western College, where Arizona coaches discovered him and immediately offered. The 6-2 220 pound safety is ranked 9th among JUCO safeties and 76th overall among all JUCO recruits and gained the interest of Oregon, Iowa State, California and Washington throughout the season.

At Arizona Western, he led the defense to an Arizona Junior College State Championship. He uses his size and instinct to close in on the ball and attack with a big hit. He's relentless on the field, ranking 19th in the nation in tackles and 10th in the nation in assisted tackles. His highlights are below.

With Jared Tevis, Tra'Mayne Bondurant and Jourdan Grandon all leaving, Magloire can make an immediate impact. The secondary could be even better next year despite the departures with William Parks, Tellas Jones, Jarvis McCall and Cam Denson holding it down.
