'Taken' Finale Takes In $14.7 Million on Friday

While it couldn’t quite match up to its predecessor, Taken 3 still got off to a strong start on Friday. The other newcomers didn’t fare quite so well: Selma fell short of modest expectations, while Inherent Vice failed to crack the Top 10.Playing at 3,594 theaters, Taken 3 opened to an estimated $14.7 million on Friday.
